Docto App is a mobile application designed to help patients avoid long queues and hassle free avail medical services. An easy communication between doctors & patients can solve many problems.

Idea

One day, my aunt got really sick and we needed a doctor urgently. We applied to see a doctor in the private hospital and went to the wrong doctor. And all this happened because the symptoms were ambiguous and it was not obvious which specialist she required. Time passed and the situation got really worse. A similar story happened with to one of my friend. Sometimes this happens when we do not always have enough medical knowledge and the time to acquire at the moment. I thought about this problem and how to solve this digitally.

Problem

Not all patients have medical knowledge and understand which doctor they need. They need to determine a specialist as quickly and as easily as possible. Also, some forget about their appointment with their doctors.

Solution

The application allows you to search any doctor in different ways: by specialization, by symptoms, by rating, by name, and even by body part. It is also possible to make an appointment with a doctor just in 3 clicks and receive notification about the next visit.

Research

A research study is a step-by-step examination of a group of users and their needs, problems, which adds realistic context to the design process.
I analyzed main competing apps, user reviews, and interviewed 14 people about their experiences with choosing a doctor and making appointments. Here are some reviews which I found.

Based on the information that I received during the analysis of reviews and interviews with users, I have identified two different personas whose scenarios are different.
